Winncare acquires UK specialist in premium hospital beds and rehabilitation products
Medical device manufacturer Winncare has acquired Montcalm International, a UK specialist in premium hospital beds and the exclusive UK distribution partner of Umano Medical.
This acquisition represents an important milestone in Winncare’s international development strategy and significantly strengthens our position in the UK healthcare market.
Through Montcalm, Winncare gains access to Umano Medical’s premium portfolio of specialist beds, including bariatric, falls prevention and mental health solutions.
Recognised for their quality, clinical performance and unique features, Umano beds will further strengthen our offering to NHS hospitals and hospices while supporting the continued expansion of our rental activities through Five.
The acquisition will also reinforce Winncare’s presence in the acute care market, further strengthening our position across the full continuum of care, from home care and long-term care to acute care, while enabling us to deliver an even broader range of solutions to healthcare providers across the UK.
