Marloes Kijzers has been announced as WheelAir’s Sales Representative.

Disability equipment supplier WheelAir has appointed Marloes Kijzers as Sales Representative where she will be the go-to person for dealers, rehab centers, hospitals, and end-users.

Marloes has a degree in human kinetic technology and four years of sales experience with custom-built wheelchairs.

During her experience in the wheelchair industry Marloes says that she has learned about heat and moisture issues that many wheelchair users struggle with.

Marloes commented to THIIS: “I am thrilled to be joining the WheelAir team at an exciting time for the company and contributing to strengthening its presence in the BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg) region.

“I am looking forward to working with end-users that are experiencing issues with heat and moisture, developing relationships dealers, rehab centers, and hospitals, and providing education about heat, moisture, and microclimate issues, as well as being a part of providing a solution to those that need it.”

Her background in the custom-built wheelchair industry has given her the knowledge, she says, of what difficulties wheelchair users experience with heat and moisture on a daily basis, and help her understands how WheelAir can provide the user with improved control over temperature and microclimate.

She also says that she is motivated to have a positive impact on people’s lives and is aligned with WheelAir’s vision to create a world where every wheelchair user feels comfortable and in control of their temperature.

Marloes will be travelling this summer to events like Naidex in the UK. She can be contacted on email at marloes@wheelair.co.uk.

Last year, WheelAir launched a rigid back integration service for all wheelchairs to keep users cool and comfortable. It means WheelAir’s innovative cooling airflow system can be fitted to any wheelchair and seating configuration, which was previously difficult to achieve due to the nature of customisation.
