Vivid Care to present webinar for healthcare professionals involved in seating assessments
Mobility equipment specialist Vivid Care will host a free webinar providing training and support for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in seating assessments tomorrow.
Vivid Care will host the ‘All You Need to Know About Posture in Seating’ webinar with special guest speakers Joanne McConnell, Independent Occupational Therapist and Tristan Hulbert, Vivid Care Seating Specialist, from 1.30 pm to 3 pm.
The session will address complex care issues including understanding posture, where attendees will explore common postural challenges, look at the impact of poor posture on health and well-being, and more.
Complex postural requirements will also be covered to give attendees the chance to learn about postural or pelvic abnormalities, how to address them with seating, and how to monitor them over time.
Attendees will learn how to offer postural support and comfort to clients through correct seating and supportive accessories, during the considering posture in seating assessments topic.
A live care chair and accessories demonstration on-screen from one of Vivid Care’s in-house seating specialists, and question and answer session will close the session.
Vivid Care prompts those interested in the webinar to register even if they cannot attend live as the session will be recorded and sent out to all registered attendees.
