Visiting end-users to take mobility scooters for a spin on TGA Test Track at Naidex
TGA Mobility will provide the Mobility Test Track at Naidex 2020, enabling end-users to get hands-on with its range as it advocates road safety and assessment-led provision.
One of the leading suppliers of mobility scooters in the UK, TGA Mobility says the track will provide end-users visiting the show with the opportunity to identify the right scooter for their needs, as well as learning about safe scooter driving techniques.
The annual TGA Mobility Test Track at Naidex is the largest of its kind in the UK and features simulated everyday obstacles such as road crossings, kerbs and reversing zones.
In addition, TGA advisors will be on hand to offer solutions for tackling typical scenarios.
“We welcome everyone to the test drive course at Naidex again this year. Preparing for obstacles faced in the real world is important and we’ve tried to make it entertaining and fun,” commented Daniel Stone, Managing Director of TGA Mobility.
“As always, the TGA team will be on hand to answer any questions and offer help and support. There will be free educational material available for anyone requiring it too. We look forward to seeing you there.”
With thousands of end-users and healthcare professionals expected to attend this year’s Naidex, TGA is aiming to engage visiting OTs by providing clinical recommendations and useful information regarding mobility scooters.
The scooter supplier will also be launching its new ‘Guide to safe mobility scooter driving’ and ‘A professional’s guide to mobility scooters’ documents at the show.
According to TGA, the Test Track is part of its ongoing road safety initiative, which comes as data points to a rise in mobility scooter accidents across Great Britain.
The test track will be available opposite TGA’s stand N812
Naidex 2020 will take place at the NEC, Birmingham, on the 17-18 March 2020.
