World of Mobility storeFamily-owned retailer World of Mobility has moved to larger new premises in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands, enabling it to further boost its customer service offering.

The store used to be located in nearby Stourbridge, but after 19 years in business there was a need for more space to accommodate its growing product range.

Richard Hulme, Owner of World of Mobility, commented to THIIS: “The new store is more than double the size of the previous store. Customers can walk around freely and we have more space for demonstrations and stock.

“The biggest advantage is that we have our own parking at the front of the shop and the site is a prime location, well known in the area due to the army tank being a local landmark.”

The store is best known for mobility scooters, both new and reconditioned, but its product range also includes wheelchairs, walkers, riser recliners and stairlift installations.

Repairs and maintenance will be carried out in the store’s dedicated workshop, further enabling the store to enhance the one-to-one customer service that it offers.

World of Mobility was established in 2003 by Richard’s uncle David Hulme and his brother-in-law, Trevor Lewis. When they retired the business was passed to Richard and his father until 2020, when Richard became sole owner after his father retired.

The new store, which is located at Unit 1a Delph Industrial Estate on Delph Road in Brierley Hill, stocks a large range of products from major suppliers including Pride, Kymco, Electric Mobility, Sunrise and TGA Mobility.
