Sunrise Medical and Scoozy Partner to Launch Game-Changing Sterling S800 Outdoor Mobility ScooterMobility solutions manufacturer Sunrise Medical has partnered with Dutch tech company Scoozy to launch the Sterling S800 by Scoozy – a next-generation outdoor mobility scooter designed for those who crave freedom and comfort.

Recently debuted at Rehacare 2024 in Dusselfdorf, Germany, in September 2024, and expected to be released in the UK in 2025, the product combines advanced technology with thoughtful design, offering users a whole new level of mobility.

Designed for individuals who struggle with walking or biking due to pain or fatigue, the S800 combines familiar bike-like handlebars, brake handles, and a thumb throttle for intuitive, confident driving control.

Featuring an open-frame design and crafted with 100 per cent recyclable EPP material parts, it combines modern aesthetics with stability and comfort for a smooth, enjoyable ride. The S800 outdoor mobility scooter promises to be a game-changer in the market.

Its lithium battery offers a 50km range, providing long rides without frequent recharging. It is also strategically placed in the footplate, enhancing both stability and foot space. It further features a heating element for battery performance in sub-zero temperatures.

With 18-inch wheels, trail tires, and adjustable suspension, the S800 handles diverse surfaces with ease while delivering superior comfort and control.

The ergonomic front frame offers ample foot space and promotes proper posture during rides. A multi-adjustable seat and steering column allow users to achieve a tailored fit, while the Klickfix smart adapter points provide additional customization options.

Job van de Kieft, CEO of Scoozy, commented: “Partnering with Sunrise Medical, a company that shares our mission of improving people’s lives through innovative mobility solutions, is a significant milestone for us.

“The launch of the S800 By Scoozy marks a new chapter in our journey to bring our innovative mobility scooters to a broader audience. We are thrilled to debut it at Rehacare and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring.”
