VIDEO: New podcast from Independence Mobility brings unfiltered mobility talk to listeners worldwide
Anthony Mitchell, director of Leeds-based specialist mobility retailer Independence Mobility, has teamed up with Australian assistive technology professional Justin Boulos to launch a brand-new mobility podcast, Wheel Chat.
Designed to be unfiltered, unbiased and refreshingly honest, Wheel Chat explores the world of mobility equipment, sharing real-life experiences, opinions, and plenty of humour along the way.
So far, the duo have explored topics such as innovations in wheelchair technology and adaptive seating, and the battle of the mid-wheel wheelchairs.
New episodes air every Tuesday morning, offering listeners a mix of insightful conversation, practical advice, and candid industry chat.
Anthony says, “Wheel Chat was born out of the chats we were already having, usually full of laughs, the odd rant, and a lot of honesty. We just thought, why not turn those real conversations into something people can actually listen to?
“There’s so much happening in the mobility world, but not many places where people talk openly about it, what works, what doesn’t, and what it’s really like day to day. We’re keeping it straight-talking, a bit cheeky, and always focused on giving people a real insight into this industry.”
The podcast also has an exciting line-up of upcoming special guests, featuring mobility industry disruptors and leading occupational therapists from around the world.
