VIDEO: Handicare’s team & dealers star in front of the camera to raise spirits and money for NHS

In an effort to show appreciation to its business partners, frontline workers and to its team, Handicare has created two engaging videos throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Coronavirus has led to some of the toughest days that Britain has ever faced but it has also seen incredible moments of togetherness and community spirit as the nation has pulled together to overcome the virus.

To celebrate the efforts of essential workers inside and outside the industry, Handicare has produced two videos: HandiChoir and #ClapForCarers.

The Handicare Choir sees the stairlift manufacturer’s team flex their vocal talents with a rendition of Adele’s Make You Feel My Love to raise money for NHS Charities Together – donations can be made here.

Coming together remotely, the collaborative performance features Clare Brophy, Simon Harrison, Trudy Chrimes, Rachel Fisher, George Court, Carolyn Kilburn, Sarah Sutcliffe, Julian Turnock, Lyndsey Jackson-Smith, Lesley-Ann Wills, Carl Lutkevitch, Fran Worrall, Paul Sykes, and Sarah Worrall.

Alongside showcasing its singing, the company has also created a #ClapForCarers film, featuring members of the Handicare team and several mobility dealers clapping to show their appreciation for the NHS frontline workers during the crisis.

The #ClapForCarers campaign started at the height of the pandemic on the 26th March 2020 at 8 pm as people all across Britain took to the streets to applaud the efforts of the NHS and other key workers. It has now become a recurring gesture of appreciation taking place every Thursday.

The video sees representatives from well-known companies including Easy Living Mobility, Jay-Care Stairlift & Mobility and Prism Medical participate in the film, as well as Handicare’s workers.

Since the outbreak, Handicare has been among some of the quickest suppliers to adapt and respond, introducing a number of new initiatives and ways of working including virtual assessments and its new HandicareLive online training.
