better mobility new showroom video

Having recently relocated its premises from Hertfordshire to Buckinghamshire, retailer Better Mobility has worked with one of its key suppliers to showcase its new, ultramodern showroom and assessment centre.

Established over a decade ago by Lee and Jeanette Warner after struggling to find informative, reliable advice for their son’s wheelchair needs, Better Mobility provides an extensive range of mobility aids whilst focusing on advice and professional assessment.

The company, which prides itself on bringing a modern and professional approach to mobility, has now unveiled its new showroom in a new film.

Featuring custom shelving boasting white LED lights in a crisp white room, the contemporary retail space showcasing its range of active wheelchairs looks like something closer akin to an Apple store than that of a traditional mobility store.

The professionally shot video centres of Progeo’s Export Manager Marco Nosella as he discusses the Italian wheelchair manufacturer’s history, products and relationship with Better Mobility in the company’s new facility.

Based in Treviso near Venice, the Italian wheelchair manufacturer has been in the mobility industry for over 25 years, producing a comprehensive range of premium made-to-measure wheelchairs from high-end materials, including carbon fibre, titanium and aluminium.

THIIS first reported on Progeo in June 2017 after the company began searching for UK mobility dealers at the now-defunct Mobility Roadshow.

In September 2017, Better Mobility confirmed it was taking on the Progeo range, being one of the first UK retailers to sell the European products.

At the time, Craig Topping, Sales Manager for Better Mobility, told THIIS “When we met them at the Mobility Roadshow this year, we assessed some of their products and arranged to meet with their UK distributor to view the range and discuss the opportunity of working together.

“Having met the team from Progeo, we were pleased with their professionalism and the pride they take in their products, making it easy for us to decide that they were a team we wanted to work with.”

Since then, the wheelchair supplier has gone from strength-to-strength and is now working with a number of established mobility dealers.

Unafraid to explore new products, in 2018, Better Mobility confirmed it would be taking on the Pandhora range of wheelchairs, with Jeanette Warner, Director of Better Mobility, discussing the dealer’s ambitions for the new range with THIIS.

Better Mobility’s new location is: 12 Unit 1, Asheridge Business Centre, Asheridge Road, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 2PT, UK
