UK’s first online marketplace launched for new and used mobility scooters and accessories
Online marketplace mobilityscooters.co.uk has launched in the UK with an aim to offer a safe, reliable platform for private sellers and mobility scooter dealerships to buy and sell new and used mobility scooters and accessories to customers on a local and national basis.
The innovative online platform follows years of research and development by Nottingham-based brothers Daniel, Joe, Ben and Tim Isterling, who have collectively accumulated over 85 years of experience in the care and mobility industry..
Specialising in new and used mobility scooters it is designed to bridge two significant gaps within the mobility market. The first is to improve access to high quality mobility scooters for users, while the second is to enable dealerships to expand their network of customers across the country and sell their scooters more effectively in order to meet growing customer demand.
Buyers can browse over 100 different makes and models of mobility scooters – including pavement scooters and powerchairs – alongside a wide range of accessories and aftercare services which are available to purchase across the UK.
For Daniel Isterling, the launch of mobilityscooters.co.uk is a moment of real pride and he is delighted to have worked on something which is the first of its kind in the country.
“The UK is home to thousands of reputable independent dealers, all offering high-quality mobility scooters, accessories and aftercare services which their local communities rely on,” explains Dan.
“However, from our experience of working with brands in the industry, it can be really difficult for these dealers to grow their businesses on a regional or national scale. We wanted to facilitate that growth for them by creating an online platform that allows them to showcase their stores to a UK market while at the same time, enhances the choice of products available for customers – all at the touch of a button,”
