TPG DisableAids appoints experienced new sales assessor to support its continued growth
Mobility and access equipment specialist TPG DisableAids has welcomed Tom Bates to its team of sales assessors.
Alastair Gibbs, Managing Director of TPG Disable Aids commented: “Due to the continued growth and success of the team we have again added to our team of assessors.
“Tom joins us as a sales assessor and brings with him a wealth of knowledge from the home improvement and construction industry and will focus on some of our more technical products such as powerchairs, home lifts and overhead hoists, along with our huge range of stairlifts and aids.”
After spending over a decade in the construction and home improvement sector, Tom said that he is pleased to be taking on a customer-focused role as this is an element of work he has enjoyed most in the past.
Explaining what attracted him to the role Tom said: “After experiencing the need for disabled aids within my family, my interest was sparked by the sheer dedication of the team that helped provide my grandfather with the right equipment for his needs.
“Jump forward 12 months and I now find myself with the family at TPG, eager to learn and excited to help.”
Trading since 1985, TPG DisableAids serves five counties from its Hereford base where it provides a full range of mobility and living aids.
Last year, the retailer unveiled a patient handling training academy, which enables care and nursing staff to become fully qualified and then cascade the training internally, saving potentially budget-restricted social care providers money.
