Scottish mobility retailer Thistle Help raised £1,925 for Ayrshire Hospice recently by holding a coffee morning at its Irvine showroom.

The event in October was held to support the annual Go Purple day, where Ayrshire schools, businesses and community groups come together to raise money for Ayrshire Hospice, a local charity which looks after terminally ill patients.
Customers, friends and family attended Thistle Help’s showroom, as well as staff from Ayrshire Hospice team.
Laura Hays, Director at Thistle Help, commented to THIIS: “This was our third coffee morning for Ayrshire Hospice Go Purple Day.

“We are delighted to have raised £1,925 at the coffee morning. It was such a great day – despite the weather being miserable, it didn’t stop people from coming along.”
Thistle Help supplies a wide range of equipment including lift & rise recliners, mobility scooters, manual and power wheelchairs, adjustable beds and daily living aids from its showrooms in Irvine and Crosshouse, Kilmarnock.
