Theraposture to deliver new CPD on-stand rotating bed education at The OT Show
Adjustable bed specialist Theraposture will be hosting express CPD sessions on its stand at The OT Show, which is being held at Birmingham’s NEX from 26-27 November.
This year Theraposture’s education will be hosted by Maarten Middelkoop, Clinical Director of Compliance from the Dutch manufacturer of its award-winning Orbit rotating bed.
The 20-minute sessions entitled ‘Rotating Beds – Compliance, design, and effectiveness’ will take plae on stand H36 on day one and day two at the event, at 10am, 11.30, 1,30 and 3pm.
Following the 2023 launch of the Orbit 235 at the OT show, Maarten will demonstrate how medical device product design must achieve practical effectiveness, compliance with standards, affordability, and adaptability to help equipment services with reissuing.
This CPD opportunity will show prescribers how the Orbit Rotating Bed range has been developed to ensure compliance with BSEN60601-2-52.Alongside the educational sessions, Theraposture will be launching a range of new Orbit rotating beds.
Building on the proven success of the pioneering Orbit 235 which was launched at the OT Show in 2023, there will be the first opportunity to see and trial the new Orbit 335 Plus and Orbit Divan. These two new rotating beds promise to revolutionise care and independence for a wider user group.
The Orbit 335 Plus will be the world’s strongest specialist rotating bed, according to Theraposture, with a 300kg user weight limit. The Orbit Divan now offers complete flexibility in terms of bed surround – ensuring all styles and decor can be complimented.
