Theraposture prepares to highlight its latest products that reduce care costs at the OT Show
Adjustable beds specialist Theraposture will highlight its latest products that significantly reduce care costs and represent great value for money at the upcoming OT Show.
Occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals are invited to visit Theraposture on stand KK30 on 27-28 November 2024 at the NEC in Birmingham.
This year, Theraposture will be presenting a streamlined showcase that focuses on reducing the financial burden on the NHS and Social Care. The stand will include the pioneering, fully modular Orbit 235 rotating bed and the new ‘budget beating’ ES-COT EMMA cot for disabled children.
Theraposture says the Orbit 235 Occupational Rotational Bed for Independent Transfers is a revolution and huge step forward in rotating beds. There is no other rotating bed like it. The Orbit 235 has been developed in collaboration with Occupational Therapists and end users.
The Orbit is part of an extensive range of rotating beds from Theraposture that enable safe independent transfers so that users can get in and out of bed on their own terms with less assistance. It can be modularly configured and programmed for each individual user, catering for users between 4’10” and 6’6”, weighing up to 31 stones. It can also be reissued and recycled for use in equipment services. The Trusted Assessors working on the Theraposture stand will be able to explain the full extent of the configurable possibilities.
In terms of cost savings, the Orbit 235 offers a sustainable ‘stay at home’ solution that is undeniably cost effective.
Theraposture have introduced two new Cot Beds which make up the new ES-Cot range. These beds have been created as ready-to-go stock beds that are very affordable and therefore a great option for equipment service providers to consider.
The ES-Cot Emma Equipment Service Cot and IDA both offer the high quality expected from Theraposture and Kayserbetten, despite being designed to facilitate a lower price point to provide an alternative to the budget cots from other suppliers.
The ES-Cot EMMA and IDA have been independently tested and are certified for compliance with all relevant medical bed standards. The beds come complete with padding, mattress and delivery within the stated price.
Liam Braddell, Managing Director of Theraposture, comments: “From our close work with occupational therapists, we understand the financial pressures everyone is facing both in the public and private sectors.
“Funding for assistive equipment is not easy to secure, and the OT has a responsibility to ensure long term value, quality and compliance and a solution that works. Our Orbit bed and ES-COT cots are game changers, as they are proven solutions that represent excellent value and deliver savings, making them the considered choice.”
Theraposture recently announced a new strategic partnership with W Munro (Rehab) so that its products are more widely available in Scotland.
