BBC TV series The Great British Bake Off is casting for series 16 and is looking for the next batch of bakers to represent the diversity of the Great British public in the famous white tent in 2025.

Producers at The Great British Bake Off says that they are passionate about seeing more under-represented communities on British television screens, and are encouraging applicants of all abilities. The Bake Off tent, they state, can be adaptable to meet any individuals accessibility requirements.

Applications for the next series of The Great British Bake Off are now open. The deadline for all applications is on Monday 9 December 2024 at 1pm.

Series 15 was judged by Paul Hollywood alongside Prue Leith and presented by Noel Fielding with Alison Hammond returning for her second series.

Applications are open to everyone aged 16 or over on 1 January 2025 and they must be a UK resident, including the Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Full rules of entry can be found at www.applyforbakeoff.co.uk.
