Terry Lifts set to expand global distribution network as homelift market continues to grow
Aiming to expand its global reach, homelift specialist Terry Lifts is looking to attract new distributors at this year’s Interlift 2019 trade event, an international trade fair for the lift market taking place in Augsburg, Germany.
The Cheshire-based manufacturer, which recently launched its new Harmony FE (fully-enclosed) lift range, says it is seeking representation across Europe; Asia; China; South Africa; New Zealand; as well as North, Central and South America.
The move comes as the lift market continues to see rapid growth globally to meet the needs of an ageing international population, with the global stairlift market predicted to reach £1billion by 2025 and growing at a rate of approximately 8.6 percent, according to research carried out Market Reports World.
Rapidly growing in popularity as an attractive alternative to the stairlift, the relatively young homelift market is also seeing a global surge in demand, with the technology increasingly becoming more affordable.
Aiming to capitalise on this growing global market, Terry Lifts will feature a selection of its models on stand, including the Harmony FE range, showcasing its Lifestyle lift with 4.3 metres travel capability and the Portable lift for temporary wheelchair access.
According to the company, three of the four lifts on display will function and travel a limited distance.
In addition, Terry Lifts will also unveil a three-door glass prototype home lift to stimulate feedback and comments from visitors and members of the industry.
On stand will be Terry Lifts’ export director John McSweeney and the company’s team, who will focus on championing the benefits of partnering with the established British lift manufacturer and its compliant product offering.

The exhibition will take place at the Augsburg Exhibition Centre in Germany on 15th – 18th October 2019
