Terry Lifts ISO certificates

Lift manufacturer Terry Lifts has announced that it has achieved certification to the latest ISO management system standards.

The Cheshire-based firm has confirmed that it is compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).

The company’s management system, it says, has been approved by Alcumus ISOQAR, the external UKAS-accredited certification body.

The scope of registration identifies Terry Lifts as providing design, development, manufacture, supply, installation, service and repair of domestic, industrial and public access lifting products.

Tim Barrow, Director of Operations for Terry Lifts, said: “We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards and in renewing our ISO management certification we have once again proven our commitment to quality.

“We believe that as the country navigates a way out of the pandemic and stands independent of the EU, consumers and specifiers will increasingly seek British manufacturers with proven products and service.  These standards give our customers added confidence and provide our company with a competitive edge.”

Over the past year, Terry Lifts has reported strong international sales which it says has helped to drive the lift the manufacturer’s recovery after it was forced to stop manufacturing lifts for a few weeks at the peak of the pandemic last year.
