Taking Care wins contract to offer digital monitoring service for social housing provider
One of the UK’s largest digital monitoring services in the UK, Taking Care, has signed a three-year contract with housing provider Stonewater to provide 24/7 monitoring services to over 3,500 of its customers.
Taking Care, a subsidiary of AXA Health, provides around-the-clock Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services to over 75,000 people throughout the UK. The business has a 35-year heritage of delivering TEC services.
The firm’s drive for innovation is supported by a strong focus on the public/housing authority market and this three-year contract with Stonewater will see Taking Care closer to realising a five year strategy to more than double the number of housing association/local authority connections it supports.
The highly trained Emergency Resolution team at Taking Care will support those living in Stonewater’s retirement living properties by responding to individual personal alarm calls, as well as managing the monitoring of smoke alarms and emergency pull cords across whole community schemes.
Emma Tobin, Head of Wellbeing at Stonewater said: “The monitoring service gives real peace of mind to customers, their family and carers.
“In these difficult times when family and friends have been unable to visit and provide support, this service is absolutely vital to enable individuals to continue living safely and independently and with the confidence that help is on hand if needed.”
Taking Care was appointed following a rigorous procurement process executed by the Northern Housing Consortium Framework.
Stonewater’s Evaluation Panel scored companies on quality and price and selected Taking Care for its outstanding quality and price, as well as it’s communication, with skilled operators that are able to speak to people with a wide range of medical conditions, including supporting those living with dementia.
Steve Gates, Managing Director at Taking Care said: “We’re delighted to be working with such an innovative and well-respected organisation as Stonewater.
“It is clear that the safety and security of their residents is absolutely top priority and we’re pleased that our 24/7 award-winning service will provide them with high quality all-round protection and peace of mind.”
“Stonewater is a large forward-thinking organisation, that is truly planning ahead with its digital journey for technology in its supported living schemes, and dispersed alarms.
“Stonewater chose Taking Care because it was confident in our abilities to resource and deliver high quality, safe services for its tenants and leaseholders from our Emergency Resolution team.”
“The onboarding process has been an open and productive relationship and we greatly look forward to the future working together.”https://thiis.co.uk/taking-care-wins-contract-to-offer-digital-monitoring-service-for-social-housing-provider/https://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Taking-Care-Stonewater-Housing-Contract-Win.jpghttps://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Taking-Care-Stonewater-Housing-Contract-Win-150x150.jpgHousingNewsroomSector News One of the UK’s largest digital monitoring services in the UK, Taking Care, has signed a three-year contract with housing provider Stonewater to provide 24/7 monitoring services to over 3,500 of its customers.
