Susurro gets ready to unveil its evolutionary Benoit wheelchair power add-on at Naidex

New for 2026, on Stand N-M60 at Birmingham NEC’s Naidex (25-26 March), Susurro will showcase the new Benoit Light Drive 3 which it says delivers a complete evolution of the Light Drive 2.1 system.
The Benoit claims to be far more than a face lift of previous models; its design and performance have been totally enhanced throughout. The rear attached, Benoit power add-on converts manual wheelchairs into powerchairs.
It provides powered propulsion, so independence is easier across varying terrain including slopes, grass and gravel. The system attaches/detaches in seconds, is compact and easily transportable in the boot of a car.
The new Benoit Light Drive 3 has been designed to add a higher level of features and benefits including enhanced motor technology for a quieter, more responsive driving experience. Boasting a lighter and more compact design, it comes in a full matte-black finish and smaller-diameter tubes for improved aesthetics and reduced weight.
Other features include a redesigned mounting system to enable true one-handed fitting and simple two-position clutch levers for effortless switching between freewheel and drive modes. It offers streamlined installation to reduce dealer workshop time and is compatible with both rigid and folding wheelchairs.
Dan Sutton, Susurro Business Development Manager, comments: “Our Benoit systems have always been best sellers for the mobility retailers we supply. The new Light Drive 3 promises to generate even more end user demand and revenue through its exceptional design.
“Refined and enhanced throughout, we are looking forward to highlighting all these considered changes to everyone who visits us at Naidex this year.”
Susurro, a trade supplier of wheelchairs, wheelchair power add-ons and specialist seating, will also showcase the Geo Matrix range from Blake Medical.
