Surewise expands its network with acquisition of Lockton Mobility’s book of business
Essex-based insurtech, Surewise, a mobility scooter and carers insurance specialist, has announced that it has acquired Lockton Mobility’s book of business, a long-standing provider of mobility scooter and wheelchair insurance and warranty cover with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
This new acquisition is a part of Surewise’s overarching ambitions to widen its reach into the retail mobility scooter market under its retail trading brand, Just Mobility.
The strategic move brings over 161 retailers and brokers into the Surewise network, with direct access to mobility scooter insurance, powerchair insurance, wheelchair insurance, stand-alone 2, 3 and 4-year extended warranty insurance products, breakdown cover, and a repair network and business insurance for retailers under Surewise’s retail trading brand, Just Mobility.
