Supra UK to showcase access and care products at upcoming OTAC event
As part of Supra UK’s commitment to the care and security market, it will be showcasing its range of access and care solutions at the Chester Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference (OTAC) on Wednesday the 6th of February.
The event, held at The Queen Hotel in Chester, aims to highlight innovative solutions and approaches available for occupational therapists and suppliers. Supra UK will be exhibiting at the event, with its team of experts, to discuss how its care and security solutions can further support the sector.
During the event, visitors to the show will be able to view the Supra C500 KeySafe. The key safe provides a secure method of externally storing keys to a property and allows anyone who has regular authorised visitors to the home, such as carers, nurses or family members, to provide safe and secure access.
This means individuals no longer have to answer the door to strangers and the code needed to access the keys can be changed at any time to ensure further peace of mind.
The Supra C500 Keysafe has undergone independent vigorous attack tests to achieve LPS 1175: Issue 6, security rating 1, and as such it is approved by ‘Secured by Design’.
Another solution that visitors to the show will be able to try is WIWE. The WIWE uses a unique intelligent algorithm, which evaluates the properties of the ECG wave to calculate if there is a risk of Atrial Fibrillation related stroke and sudden cardiac arrests (SCA). The handheld device is designed for personal use and allows remote patient monitoring with the opportunity for results to be sent to a GP or specialist when further analysis is required.
Nicola Parsons, Head of Marketing for Supra UK, commented: “We are thrilled to be part of OTAC once again this year. It is a great opportunity for us to showcase our products and the benefits they have. The visitors will also be able to learn more about us as a company and understand how safety and security inspire our products and can save endless amounts of time and resources for health professionals.”
Finally, the One Touch Pendant, a personal monitoring system, will be on stand for visitors to experience. Unlike many traditional services, this product allows the wearer to travel outside of their home.
It operates using a roaming SIM and allows the end user to alert up to three contacts in the event of an emergency and activates a two-way conversation with the responder, who can warn relevant family members or care professionals.
Supra UK can be visited on stand O23 at OTAC Chester on the 6th of February.
