Sunrise Medical launches new vibrant colour palette for its manual wheelchair range
Mobility solutions provider Sunrise Medical has introduced a new modern colour palette for its wheelchair range to help users express their individuality and style.
The re-imagined colour palette applies to adult Quickie and paediatric Zippy manual wheelchairs as well as select Jay backrests and features new, on-trend hues thoughtfully chosen to complement each other and suit styles of all ages.
Whether the user is looking for something daring, refined, edgy, or somewhere in between the shades coordinate together to help the user create their unique vibe.
Vibrant shades include midnight blue, purple, green, yellow, orange, red-black, pink and silver metallic.

40 years ago, Quickie changed the industry by introducing colour choice, transforming wheelchairs from clinical devices into personal expressions of freedom and style, and not it is redefining it again.
Each colour in the palette was selected not only for its visual impact, but also for its ability to reduce environmental footprint, according to Sunrise Medical. By minimising the need for double-layer powder coatings, the palette helps decrease energy use, streamline production, and reduce material waste.
To help users visualise their perfect look, selected models will also feature an interactive colour selector tool – making it easy to explore, mix, and match colours before ordering.
The discontinued colours will remain available for spare parts for five years.
