With August marking the month when companies in the UK will have to start contributing towards the furlough scheme as it begins to wind down, analysts have warned that unemployment is set to rise rapidly in the coming months.

Recently, a report by the CIPD revealed that 33 per cent of companies expect job losses by the end of September. Away from the doom and gloom of redundancies, however, some companies are undertaking recruitment drives at the moment.

In our second ‘State of play’ survey, THIIS wants to discover from business leaders just what impact the coronavirus is having on employment in the mobility, access and assistive technology industry.
