The 160-year-old business welcomed Mayor Heather Neate to cut the ribbon on the new 90,000 square foot factory at Pioneer Road in Andover Business Park – on the same day the one millionth stairlift left its production line.

Built to exacting sustainability standards incorporating 397,000kWh of solar energy amongst other things, the new facility significantly boosts the company’s production capacity, providing room for future expansion, ensuring that Stannah remains well-positioned to continue its legacy of advancements in the stairlift and homelift industry.

Stannah, which has a global presence, operating in 13 countries and with nearly 160 years of dedication to innovation, states that the production of 1,000,000 stairlifts is a testament to the hard work and dedication of its employees across the world.
