Stairlift company donates two mobility products at scarecrow festival
Candor Stairlifts donated two stairlifts at Leicester’s Heather Scarecrow Festival as part of its sponsorship of the event, which took place on 20th July and ran till the 5th August.
The stairlift company displayed its “Stair Crow” creation at the Festival, which was part of a scarecrow display representing the movie “UP.”
Throughout the Heather village, gardens are dotted with many scarecrows, which can be dressed as celebrities, topically or for fun, which all compete for the votes of the visitors who come to see them.
Out of 89 entries, Candor’s “Stair Crow” came 8th in the Festival.
Alongside entering the Scarecrow Festival, Candor also ran a competition which allowed one person to win the stairlift it displayed at the event.
However, after receiving many “heart-warming” entries about why someone should win the stairlift and struggling to pick one winner, Candor decided on two winners for its stairlift. The company will install the stairlifts free of charge on the 7th September.
Established in 2005, Candor Care is an independent provider of stairlifts and mobility products to locations across the Midlands.
