Stairlift business celebrates first-year of business with new showroom in Leicestershire
East Midlands-based Stairlift and Mobility Solutions is celebrating its first year of business during which time it has grown from a team of two to nine full-time members of staff.
The company was launched to meet the access requirements of people living in the East Midlands, West Midlands, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire and Norfolk.
Founded by the husband-and-wife team of Steve and Tracey Wilson, Stairlift and Mobility Solutions works with leading manufacturers of stairlifts, home lifts and hoists including Access BDD, Wessex, Stiltz, Bespoke, Etac and Platinum,
Over the last 12 months, the company has grown from a team of two, to now having nine full-time members of staff and five vans on the road to cover the installation and servicing for both local and national customers.
A new office and showroom was recently opened in Markfield, Leicestershire and to accommodate the ongoing growth of the business and large volume of stock a warehouse has been opened in Lincoln.
Steve commented: “When we established Stairlift and Mobility Solutions, we knew there was a gap in the market, but I don’t think myself or Tracey envisaged the business growing as quicky as it has.
“To now have a team of nine, all of whom are fantastic, two premises and several prestigious contracts is certainly beyond any of the expectations we had 12 months ago.
“I would like to thank everyone who has supported us during our first year of trading as without the support of my team and the manufacturers we work with there would be no Stairlift and Mobility Solutions story to tell. Here’s to the next 12 months and beyond.”
