Smirthwaite strengthens southern sales leadership with appointment of Jay Haughton
Smirthwaite, a designer and manufacturer of specialist equipment for children and young adults with additional needs, has announced the appointment of Jay Haughton as the new Area Sales Manager for the South.
In this strategic role, Jay will be responsible for overseeing sales operations and strengthening partnerships across the Southern region, ensuring that clinicians, schools, and families have access to the highest quality seating, standing, and manual handling solutions.
Jay brings a wealth of relevant expertise to the team, having previously worked for Symmetrikit, where he developed a deep understanding of the paediatric medical equipment market.
With a background in physical therapy and a keen interest in posture correction, Jay’s transition from the leisure and events industries into specialist equipment reflects Smirthwaite’s commitment to providing industry-leading expertise and localised support.
