Scoozy mobility scooter was the “centre of attention” for TGA Mobility at Naidex
At Naidex 2021 in Birmingham last week, TGA Mobility stated that it was pleased with the positive response it got from end users and trade professionals to its newly launched Scoozy mobility scooter, claiming it was “the centre of attention” on the TGA stand.
The Scoozy offers a new take on personal mobility, combining the functionality of both mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs to produce a mobility product that can tackle a variety of terrains, both on and off road.
First seen in the UK at Naidex, Scoozy is the latest addition to the innovative TGA range and contributed to the manufacturer earning the ‘Technology of the year Award 2021’ at the event.
Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director says: “Scoozy opens up freedom to more people who want a contemporary moving solution while feeling confident and looking good.
“The innovative styling of Scoozy turned many heads during the show especially when put through its paces on our test track. We are proud it has already won an award which will be one of many.”
The TGA Scoozy combines striking design, innovative electric drive technology and smart functions. Its large 16-inch wheels, together with powerful drive and responsive braking provide maximum stability and traction on any surface.
According to TGA, a major benefit of the Scoozy is increased range of up to 100 kilometres so owners can explore far and wide thanks to a lithium-ion battery that regenerates.
A precise and clear battery gauge gives peace of mind as everyone accurately knows how far they can go. The joystick and active braking are supported by speed sensitive steering and LED lights in a high position provide increased visibility.
Also at Naidex, TGA premiered an emotive new short film it made in conjunction with Lake District National Park to promote accessible routes that are available at the park for mobility scooter users.
