Scooterpac unveils the Ignite: an 8mph mobility scooter that puts its driver in the hot seat
Mobility scooter manufacturer Scooterpac has launched the Ignite – an 8mph mobility scooter featuring a heated seat as standard, 1400-watt motor and a range of up to 40 miles.
Throughout 2020, the Suffolk-based company utilised time during the pandemic and refocused product development efforts. The firm says that the Ignite is the second of several projects to be released as part of a boosted level of investment.
Scott Lawrence, Sales Director at Scooterpac, commented: “Everything at Scooterpac is about innovation. With the colder months ahead, the heated seat is long-awaited feature and has already proved to be incredibly popular with our customers.”
Scott continued: “At a time where supply chains have been strained, we are delighted to introduce and deliver this feature-leading mobility scooter, enabling our dealers to continue supporting their customers’ requirements.”
The Ignite’s heated seat can be activated using a simple touch button. The scooter offers a four-way adjustable driving position, independently moving arm rests to ensure complete posture stability and 90-degree swivel to facilitate effortless access.
Available in grey or blue, the scooter features an ultra soft suspension which enables it to be navigated along any environment, from cobble streets to rural off-road tracks.
The manufacturer’s latest products will be featured at Naidex 2021 on stand H40. These will include the recently-launched Invader, an advanced off-road mobility scooter capable of travelling on gravel, dirt tracks, sand and snow, which was first showcased to mobility retailers at the British Healthcare Trade Show in June, .
