Safespaces recognised as one of Leeds City Region’s Top 100 Digital Tech Adopters
A designer of custom-made safe living spaces and beds for people with complex needs, Safespaces has been recognised in the Digital Enterprise Top 100.
The Digital Enterprise Top 100 profiles and celebrates companies that use digital technologies in the most innovative and transformational ways. Following a competitive nomination process, one hundred of the most digitally transformational businesses based the Leeds City Region have made the top 100 list.
Digital technology has played a pivotal role in helping businesses to continue operating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Safespaces highlights. As a result, attitudes around digitalisation have changed, with enterprises of all types investing in a wide range of new technology, which has changed how they operate now and in the future, according to the company.
On being recognised in the Digital Enterprise Top 100 list, Jill Morony, Managing Director of Safespaces, said: “Over the last 12 months, there have been many challenges and digital technology has helped us, like many other local businesses, to continue operating throughout the pandemic.
“We have risen to this challenge and invested in new technology enabling us to adapt and continue to offer high-quality products for our customers. We would like to congratulate all the other businesses who are celebrating digital innovation, transformation and resilience and a special thanks to The Digital Enterprise for selecting us.”
Small and medium-sized businesses from across nine Leeds City Region local authority areas (Leeds, Kirklees, York, Harrogate, Craven, Calderdale, Bradford, Selby and Wakefield) feature in the Top 100, which can now be viewed online.
The list represents a diverse range of industries from award-winning game development studio XR Games and one-stop local online shop ShopAppy to fly tying materials specialists Semperfli and landscaping supplier Green-tech.
Last month, Safespaces was officially accredited as a Living Wage Employer in recognition of its commitment in ensuring everyone who works at the company receives a minimum hourly wage set by the Living Wage Foundation each year.
