Ropox enjoys engaging with trade over its latest accessible product launches
Accessible bathroom and kitchen manufacturer Ropox has reported a successful return to the world of exhibitions after attending Naidex 2021 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham recently.
The company used the event to showcase the recently launched QuickWash basin along with the Changing Tables and Toilet Lifter which is compatible with the Geberit AquaClean Mera shower toilet.
Mark Sadler, UK Sales Manager at Ropox commented: “I don’t think anyone was too sure what to expect after the last 18 months but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and level of visitors despite the country still coping with the effects of the pandemic.
“Products such as ours really have to be seen in person so it was nice to have the opportunity to engage with the trade, end users and healthcare professionals and demonstrate the Quick Wash basin, Changing Table and Toilet Lifter in a safe and relaxed environment and look forward to following up these conversations over the coming weeks.”
According to Ropox, the height adjustable QuickWash basin comes forward from the wall meaning the user does not have to bend or reach from their wheelchair which can cause a negative effect on their posture.
Handily for wheelchair users, the manufacturer states that the basin can be lowered from its fixed point by 140mm and out from the wall by 100mm.
The mobile shower/changing bed is height adjustable and has been designed to make changing safe and comfortable for the user and their carer. Its electric height adjustment enables the carer to obtain the best possible working condition while the flexible slats ensure the user is comfortable at all times.
To assist with toileting, Ropox states that developed the Toilet Lifter to assist with lifting and lowering the user to and from a standing position. Its ergonomic design of the unit and the integrated height adjustable arms ensure it is both easy to use and clean and helps the user maintain their dignity.
