Rise & recliner range enjoys “revolutionary update” due to rising retailer demand
Incorporating new technology and offering new stocked fabric finishes, Pride Mobility Products has increased and updated its Hudson range of rise and recliners following popular demand from the trade.
The company has introduced the new Camberley Deluxe into the Hudson range, which it describes as combining exceptional build quality with value and the “evolutionary VivaLift lifting mechanism.”
Joining three recent additions to the riser and recliner range – the Buxton, the Hereford, and the Monmouth – Pride Mobility says the new Camberley Deluxe offers users advanced comfort and continues the range’s British manufactured tradition.
Originally launched in 2016, Pride introduced the range in memory of Guy Hudson, one of the company’s most personable and well-liked reps. Theo Sawford, Marketing Manager at Pride Mobility, told THIIS in October 2018 that over the years, the range has taken off, proving to be as popular as the man it was named after.
Speaking to THIIS at last year’s Trade Days, Theo explained the company was doubling down efforts to expand and enhance the Hudson range following a positive response from dealers.
“A lot of our dealers in the UK are seeing the potential of it and experiencing good sales and interest. I think it is really fulfilling a need in the power lift recliner market,” he said.
The company’s three new launches at the end of 2018, the Buxton, the Hereford, and the Monmouth, now come in Petite, Standard and Grande and all include the VivaLift dual motor design technology, lumbar support and a powered headrest.
Additionally, all Hudson rise recliners, with the exception of the Camberley Deluxe, feature standard fabric stock finishes Vancouver 21 Mocha fr, Vancouver 29 Praline fr, and Vancouver 34 French Grey fr, highlighting each one is designed to suit most home décor.
