RHealthcare unveils wheelchair with a larger frame for users requiring more space and support
Specialist wheelchair supplier RHealthcare has announced the launch of its latest wheelchair which has been engineered with a larger frame and reinforced components to meet the needs of users who require additional space and support without compromising comfort or manoeuvrability.
The Dash 200 HD Plus wheelchair boasts a 26-inch wide seat and user weight of 225kg.
This new model is an upgrade of the popular Dash 200 HD wheelchair which launched last year. The seat is two inches wider than the largest DASH 200 HD model and the user weight is boosted by 25kg.
The Dash 200 HD Plus will allow wheelchair services to better support individuals, their carers and families to achieve improved quality of life and independence through provision of the right wheelchair.
Matthew Nelson, Product Manager at RHealthcare, commented: “Our latest heavy duty wheelchair reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusivity, safety and performance.
“We recognised a need for a chair that better serves users who require greater stability and support, with comfort. The Dash 200 HD Plus achieves this.”
The Dash 200 HD Plus is crash test approved, enabling wheelchair users to be safely transported without removing them from the chair. This provides peace of mind for care practitioners and users alike.
This safety feature, combined with quick-to-engage hub brakes and quick release wheels for transportation and storage, makes the Dash 200 HD Plus a safe and practical heavy duty wheelchair.
The Dash 200 HD Plus wheelchair is now available, and retailers can contact the RHealthcare team on 0845 146 0600 or email sales@rhealthcare.co.uk for more information.
