RGK Wheelchairs announced as the official wheelchair racing partner of England Athletics

RGK Wheelchairs, a UK manufacturer of bespoke sports wheelchairs, has announced its new partnership with England Athletics, becoming the Official Wheelchair Racing Partner of the national governing body for grassroots athletics and running in England.
Michael Prosser, Commercial Manager at RGK Wheelchairs, said: “Partnering with England Athletics marks an exciting new chapter for wheelchair racing in the UK.
“At RGK, we’re proud to lead the way in performance engineering, working alongside an organisation that shares our passion for growing the sport and creating opportunities for athletes at every level.
“The RGK Sprint, built from lightweight aluminium, has already become a trusted favourite among racers for its strength, speed, and precision.
“Now, with the upcoming launch of the Sprint X, we’re taking that legacy even further. With carbon fibre construction and a refined aerodynamic design, the Sprint X delivers those all-important marginal gains that define elite performance.”
Matthew Kendrick, National Para Athletics Manager at England Athletics, added: “This partnership with RGK is hugely exciting for wheelchair racing in England. Together, we aim to support and develop a talented group of wheelchair racers and reduce barriers to performance progression through the talent pathway.”
RGK states that every racing chair that leaves its UK factory is crafted by people who live and breathe the sport. From first-time racers discovering the track to Paralympic champions chasing world records, every weld and every millimetre is built for performance.
Leading the way in developing a thriving, inclusive talent pathway for both athletes and para-athletes, England Athletics is focused on creating an athlete-centred, transparent, and connected system that supports progression and helps athletes reach new benchmarks and realise their potential.
RGK is also an official partner of Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby and will be providing wheelchair rugby wheelchairs for the LA 2028 Paralympic Games.
