Ableworld, the largest mobility retailer in the UK, has released new “how to” online videos, adding another string to the company’s multi-channel marketing bow.

The videos will aim to provide easy to understand, step-by-step advice on mobility aids and comes following the launch of Ableworld’s quarterly Independence magazine and television advert spot.

Searches relating to “how to” videos on YouTube grew 70{2b56f69eed902e060b0ece4e951518e78184250fd95605277e040c84763239be} from 2014 to 2015 according to Google, with the trend continuing to rise, as customers turn online as the first port of call for information and advice.

Ableworld says the new online guides will help customers find the right products for their needs and help answer questions that customers may not feel comfortable asking in store.

Teaming up with video production company Keystone Creative to produce the videos, the ‘how to’ guides include a guide to stairlifts; a guide to walkers, walking frames and rollators; a guide to wheelchairs; and a guide to continence care and incontinence issues.

Using its own staff and shooting in the Shrewsbury store rather than using actors and a studio, the company confirmed its aims was to keep the videos personal to Ableworld to ensure customers felt comfortable with the advice given.
