Rehasense Academy
Mobility equipment supplier Rehasense UK has launched a training academy with the aim of providing its dealers with training and instructional videos covering the full range of Rehasense products, from rollators and manual wheelchairs to power assisted add-ons.

The Rehasense Academy will provide dealers with a central source of information for any questions they or their customers might have and they will also be able to share this content with the customer.

Lee French, Managing Director of Rehasense UK told THIIS: “The videos will cover all aspects from unpacking and assembling a product through to setting it up for the user along with servicing advice and all the content will be available on a dedicated Rehasense YouTube channel.

“Our dealers are integral to our business and we believe in supporting them as much as possible. With the launch of the Rehasense Academy, we hope dealers will have a central source of information for any questions they or their customers might have and they will also be able to share this content with the customer which can only enhance the relationship.”

Lee commented that he feels training is beneficial to both retailers and their customers, especially when selling products that require an assessment of the customer to ensure it is the correct solution.

He added: “Many of the customers our dealers work with are vulnerable so it is imperative that the member of staff talking to the customer has a detailed understanding of their requirements and what equipment may or may not be suitable depending on their condition and level of mobility.”

In addition to the Rehasense Academy, the firm supports its dealers with product training courses either at their premises or at Rehasense’s headquarters in Cornwall to ensure that they have a comprehensive knowledge of its product range and how to asses a customer to ensure the product they select meets their needs.

The mobility equipment supplier recently showcased the latest additions to its range at Naidex 2021, which took place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre. Its Power Assisted Wheelchair Systems (PAWS), Track Wheel and the Icon 35 all received a positive response from dealers, end users and OTs visiting the show.
