Medical equipment supplier Rehasense UK has said that it was delighted with the response to its products at this year’s Naidex, which took place at the Birmingham NEC on the 6th and 7th of July.

The firm showcased its full range of mobility solutions at the event, including PAWS, Track Wheel, and other examples from its manual wheelchair and rollator portfolios.

Lee French, Managing Director at Rehasense, commented: “We were delighted with the positive response our products received over the two days.

“I think it is fair to say no one was too sure how well attended the show would be after the last two years, but we were inundated with enquiries from retailers both existing and potential, healthcare professionals and end users.

“Our rollators, manual wheelchairs, Power Assisted Wheelchair Systems (PAWS) and Track Wheel all received fantastic feedback and we had several special offers available for the trade which also proved to be popular.

“As with any event, it is only when you see how many of the enquiries convert into business that you can assess the cost effectiveness of attending but I am very confident and have already re-booked for 2023.”

Products featured included the City, an entry-level model in the Assisted Wheelchair Systems range. Available with a 12” or 14” wheel, the City is designed mainly for use around town using the 12” wheel ideal for smooth tarmac roads, while the larger 14” wheel can handle surfaces that are slightly more uneven.

Also featured was the Tourer, a top-of-the-range model in the PAWS range that can take wheelchair users across terrain which would normally be inaccessible.

Visitors also got hands-on with the Track Wheel, which has been designed to transform a standard manual wheelchair into an agile tricycle. The Track Wheel is the ideal companion, whether you are active around town or going for more adventurous days out over rougher terrain, such as in the forest or on the beach.

They also found out more about the ICON 35BX, the lightest wheelchair in the ICON range and features an ergonomic seat and back angle for a ‘superb’ seating position.
