Recare continues to increase exclusive product lines with new Motion Composites agreement
Established retailer Recare has added another product range to its growing list of exclusive distribution deals, having signed a new agreement with Canadian-based manual wheelchair supplier Motion Composites.
The announcement follows the confirmation by Recare in July 2020 that it had taken on the exclusive distribution of the Supracor Stimulite honeycomb product range following Gerald Simonds Healthcare entering administration.
Now, the Oxfordshire-headquartered mobility and rehab specialist will distribute Motion Composites’ line of manual wheelchairs to the trade, alongside direct to end-users within the UK.
First entering the wheelchair market in 2008 with its lightweight HELIO C1 carbon fibre model, Motion Composites has developed a family of high-performance manual wheelchairs.
Sold across Canada, the US and Europe through an extensive network of distributions and dealers, the past five years has seen Motion Composites ranked amongst the top 500 fastest growing companies in Canada. In addition, the company has earned two recognised Red Dot awards for wheelchair design in 2017 and 2019.

There is a recognisable gap in the UK market for this type of product that is not fulfilled by other manufactures current product offerings.

The addition of another exclusive product range builds on Recare’s recent agreements signed with Supracor, Klaxon, Benoit Systemes and PDG Mobility, as it looks to take advantage of its larger distribution facility launched at the end of last year.
