Secret Access Ultralight Ramp Retailers' Guide Naidex 2019

At the OT Show this week, Secret Access will exhibit its Featherweight portable access ramp to occupational therapists, highlighting how the lightweight solution can provide an effective alternative to heavier ramps provided by the NHS.

With a width of 75cm and four lengths ranging from 75cm to 200cm, the Featherweight portable access ramp weighs between 2.6kg and 6.8kg and boasts a simple to operate open-and-close mechanism.

Designed to be folded for ease of storage as well as transport, the ultra-lightweight non-slip ramp makes for the perfect travel companion for any wheelchair user who may be concerned about the accessibility of buildings they are planning to visit, says the company.

“We are delighted to be showcasing our Featherweight access ramp at this year’s OT Show,” commented Nadege Schiltz from Secret Access.

“We believe our ramps offer a unique solution to people requiring help with accessing their home or accessing buildings when they are our and about and having the chance to engage with OT’s from all over the UK over the two days is a fantastic opportunity for us.”

Recently, one of Secret Access’ customers, Mr Chris Eliot from Richmond, praised the product after discovering it at Naidex, emphasising the transportability of the Featherweight ramp.

“The ramps supplied by the NHS were unsuitable as they were so heavy no one could lift them, thankfully we knew about Secret Access having met them at Naidex so promptly ordered 2 Featherweight ramps: 75cm and 200cm long, which were ideal as when combined they reached from the path, over both steps and into our hallway,” he commented.

“These ramps are just amazing, they are so lightweight that myself, my wife or friends can literally lift them with one finger and you can take them out with you so there is no need to worry about accessing building on a day out.”

The company will be exhibiting on stand H65 at this year’s OT Show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham on the 27th and 28th November 2019.
