The MP5-UTB is a reliable nocturnal seizure movement detection alarm for babies through to adults at an affordable price.
Positioned under the mattress, the patented sensor analyses the user’s body movements while they are sleeping and differentiates between normal sleeping movement and seizure activity. The digital alarm delay feature virtually eliminates false alarms by ignoring natural sleeping movements such as turning over. Detected continuous seizure activity generates an alarm to the portable flashing sounder. Flashing coloured lights as well as an audible alarm raises an alert to the carer.
The sensitivity is adjustable to suit the bed type and body weight of the user and the settings are digitally stored to prevent tampering.
Includes an inbuilt sound sensor frequency tuned to continuously monitor for human sounds to detects vocalisations preceding or during a seizure. Can detect aural sounds such as choking, screams or grunting
The MP5-UTB is very easy to set up, in fact for most people there will be no adjustments to make so it is instantly ready to begin its job right out of the box.
