Caring for a child with epilepsy can be an extremely worrying, especially for parents concerned with the safety of their child during the night. The Medpage-MP5-UT uses a patented ultra-sensitive sensor specifically engineered to detect when a child is having a Tonic/Clonic seizure while in bed.
The sensor is positioned under the child’s mattress and is plugged into the alarm monitor. The monitor continuously analyses the child’s body movements while they are sleeping and differentiates between normal sleeping activity and seizure movement. The digital alarm delay control virtually eliminates false alarms by ignoring natural sleeping movements, such as turning over. Continuous seizure movement triggers an alarm to the MPPL carer pagers. The system is supplied with two carer pagers so that both parents are alerted to detected seizures
The MP5-UT is very easy to set up, in fact for most people there will be no adjustments to make so it is instantly ready to begin its job right out of the box. Changing the movement detection capabilities is very easy if required as the MP5-UT has digitally controlled adjustments for the sensor sensitivity and a delayed alarm feature. The UT is a powerful machine, designed to keep watch over your treasures while they sleep, providing you the opportunity also of a good night sleep.
