The Leon powered wheelchair from Karma Mobility is an indoor/outdoor use, rear-wheel-drive power base. The exceptionally narrow wheelbase allows for agile manoeuvrability. It is geared for speed without compromising on stability or control.
The Leon Captain seat is anatomically contoured and offers great comfort with its manual recline function. The chair is ideal for individuals looking for a basic trunk control and a comfortable ride.
Outstanding Outdoor Performance
If outdoors is where you want to be, the Leon will take you there. The full four-wheel suspension offers extra comfort and a smooth ride. With driving speed up to 8mph (12.5 km/hr), the strong motors overcome most rough terrain. The optional 70 Ah batteries extend the driving range for longer trips.
Excellent Indoor Manoeuvrability
The Leon’s total width is 62 cm, making it one of the most compact power wheelchair on the market. Smooth and easy to navigate, this chair moves effortlessly through doorways, onto lifts, and around confined spaces.
Adjustable Seat Depth
The seat depth can be adjusted from 41cm to 46 cm.
Manual Recline
The Leon Captain offers the ability to manually recline the backrest 0°-65° or 0°-45°. This allows the users to stretch their hip joint and relax the back muscle.
Flip-back Armrest
Makes it easy to get on and off the wheelchair or roll closer to a table or desk. The armrest height is adjustable from 18 cm to 28 cm.
Detachable Swing-away Footrest
Allows for easy transfer, on and off the wheelchair and detaches with no tools required. The footplates height is adjustable from 39 cm-51 cm.
Full Range of Leg/Foot Support Options
Articulating legrest extends in length as it is elevated to provide optimal comfort and support. Amputee footrest is height, angle and depth adjustable for the perfect support. 90 degree Legrest & Adjustable Footplate – The footplate can be set to multiple different positions and angles. Angle Adjustable Footplate – The footplate can be angled from 70° to 110°.
LED Lighting System
It is important for the wheelchair user to see as well as be seen at night. To improve safety, the Leon is equipped with headlights and taillights for better night-time visibility.
