PROCare wins ‘best stand’ at OT Show 2025 with science fiction-style shower cubicle
Accessible bathroom specialists PROCare were named Best Stand 2025 at the Occupational Therapy Show following the successful launch of the TRU Cubicle and interactive ‘Save the Day the OT Way’ campaign.
The award-winning installation featured TRU Cubicle transformed into a science fiction style tardis, where visitors met Dr TRU and the Mobilons.
Occupational therapists were invited to join the mission by exploring PROCare’s core product range and identifying the solutions needed to help residents return to safe and independent living.
Designed for temporary use in hard-to-adapt homes, TRU Cubicle includes a watertight shower and WC, half height doors, grab rails, a raised tray lip and pumped waste system.
It installs in just hours and is fully relocatable, making it suitable for hospital discharge programmes and transitional care environments.
Emma Imhof, Commercial Manager at PROCare, comments: “This award means a lot, but what matters more is how many visitors recognised the real world value of TRU Cubicle for their services and clients.
“This is a product designed around the actual limitations of housing stock and the urgency of care delivery.”
PROCare, which has significantly expanded its operational capacity in the past year, now manufactures TRU Cubicle and its carer shower doors in house, following the 2025 acquisition of Autumn UK. This integration supports faster response times, bespoke configurations and enhanced durability for long term use.
