Brecon sofa by PrimacareSpecialist seating manufacturer Primacare Group has been sold to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

The British manufacturer, which supplies products predominantly for people with mobility difficulties, includes Primacare Holdings (established in 2015) and two trading subsidiaries: Primacare (founded in 2004) and Prima Fabrications (acquired in 2011).

The sale was completed at a full commercial value, with business advisory firm Avondale managing the entire process including strategy, valuation, tax clearance,  and the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

This transition allowed the shareholders to realise the value of the business while creating a lasting legacy by transferring ownership to its employees via the trust. The sale ensures the continued growth of the company’s exceptional customer service and culture.
