Pride Mobility unveils AI-powered smart wheelchair that helps support real everyday needs
Mobility solutions provider Pride Mobility has announced the launch of the Jazzy Assist, an AI-powered smart wheelchair.
Jazzy Assist integrates advanced AI technologies with practical clinical functionality to improve both patient independence and caregiver workflows.
At the core of the system is its EZ-Pass Turning Assist feature, enabling precise navigation through narrow doorways. A rear-view camera assist system enhances awareness during reversing, helping reduce collision risk and improving safety.
Safety is a key focus in the wheelchair’s design. Jazzy Assist includes a one-touch SOS button and automatic tilt detection, so if help is ever needed, alerts can be sent quickly to family or caregivers.

The wheelchair connects to a simple mobile app, allowing the user or caregiver to check the chair’s battery life and wheelchair status, track its location and get helpful tips and answers through built-in AI support. In addition, it is possible to control the chair remotely when needed.
Designed with comfort in mind, Jazzy Assist features an ergonomic backrest, optional headrest, and an easy-to-read controller with a large display. It also includes extras like a USB charging port, speakers, and front LED lighting for added convenience.
For travel and storage, Jazzy Assist is lightweight with a carbon fibre frame and folds in just five seconds. Pride Mobility states that it can roll like a suitcase, making it ideal for trips and everyday transport.
With a weight capacity of up to 21st and a range of up to 17 miles, the wheelchair is built to support daily life with reliability and ease.
