Pride Mobility expands into retail market with new store set to open in Coventry this month

Mobility product specialist Pride Mobility has announced that it will be opening its first retail shop – Pride Mobility Homestore – in Coventry later this month.
Expanding into the retail market represents a major milestone for Pride Mobility and its complex rehab power chair arm Quantum Rehab.
Pride’s full range of mobility scooters and powerchairs will be available, along with Quantum Rehab’s powerchairs and new rise and recline furniture from Sitting Pretty, the brand purchased by the firm in 2021.
The firm has stated that its latest strategy is to expand into areas of the UK where the company has little to no representation.

In a statement for the firm’s partner dealers, Tim Murphy, VP EU, UK, & Middle East Operations and Sales at Pride Mobility & Quantum Rehab, stated: “The relationships we value with our trusted dealers are strong and will continue to be.”
He added: “We commit to creating customer loyalty and maintaining long-term relationships with you and your business through exceptional service.
“We strive to provide you with new “best-in-class” products by investing aggressively in research and development. And we look toward the future with a relentless passion for helping people achieve greater mobility.
“Here’s the bottom line. We will remain humble, constantly seek ways to improve and innovate, and strive every day to better address our customers’ needs, so that you remain inspired to promote the Pride/Quantum brand.”
Set to open in the former Middletons Mobility showroom, the Pride Mobility Homestore aims to offer customers “not just products they need, but those they want too”, with the retail space set to be complemented by a wave of new, innovative products with more to come.
Kevin Parton, formerly Area Sales Manager for Quantum Rehab UK will be the Senior Retail Manager for the store.
Pride Mobility, which has its UK headquarters in Bicester, has released a range of mobility scooters this year, including the Pursuit 2.0, Atmos and BAJA Bandit.
