Precision Rehab’s standing paediatric powerchair wins Naidex ‘Best in Show’ award
Paediatric powerchair supplier Precision Rehab won the coveted ‘Best in Show’ award with its PR35 S power chair at this year’s Naidex, the flagship event for the disability community held at Birmingham’s NEC recently.
The award aims to seek out those products, which have the most positive impact for disabled people.
The award was presented to co-founder’s Matthew and Emma James, who were delighted to receive such a prestigious award.
Matthew James, Director of Precision Rehab, commented: “To have received this recognition at what is the largest disability event in the UK is fantastic.
“We worked closely with the R&D team at Paravan during the development of the PR35 S and this award certainly makes all the hard work worthwhile”.
The Paravan PR35 S claims to be the smallest standing power chair currently available in the UK, with a chassis width of 57cm and maximum user weight of 80kg. It is a genuine paediatric sized powerchair for children and smaller people and is also available in the non-standing PR35.
The controls on the device has memory settings that stores favourite positions so that the user can quickly switch between positions personalised for comfort. Standard powered features include lying, seat lift, tilt-in-space with anterior tilt, recline backrest with incorporated anti-sheer and elevating leg rests.
The PR35 S has been crash tested to ensure it can be safely used in vehicles with tie down or docking systems.
Recently, Precision Rehab reported on a successful appearance at the Kidz to Adultz show in Coventry where it showcased several examples from its comprehensive range of powerchairs.https://thiis.co.uk/precision-rehabs-standing-paediatric-powerchair-wins-naidex-best-in-show-award/https://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Precision-Rehab-Naidex-Award-900x654-July-22.jpghttps://thiis.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Precision-Rehab-Naidex-Award-900x654-July-22-150x150.jpgAwards & AchievementsNaidexNewsroomTrade NewsMobility,Naidex,paediatric,powerchair,PR35 S,Precision RehabPaediatric powerchair supplier Precision Rehab won the coveted ‘Best in Show’ award with its PR35 S power chair at this year’s Naidex, the flagship event for the disability community held at Birmingham’s NEC recently.
