Precision Rehab at Naidex

Bespoke powerchair solutions provider Precision Rehab has reported a very successful Naidex 2021 with its range of power chairs receiving positive feedback from end users, the trade and healthcare professionals.

The recently launched Paravan PR35, PR35S, PR25 and the all-terrain TrackMaster all received extremely positive feedback, as Director Matt James explains.

“Over the two days we spoke to a variety of end users, healthcare professionals and members of the trade and booked a high number of assessments which exceeded our expectations.

“It has been a long time since we have been able to engage with so many people and we are looking forward to carrying out these assessments over the coming weeks and helping more people find their perfect powerchair solution”.

According to Precision Rehab, the front wheel drive PR35 – which has a chassis width of 57cm and a maximum user weight of 80kg – is a genuine paediatric sized powerchair for children and smaller people.

The PR35S has the same dimensions as the PR35 and is the smallest standing powerchair currently available in the UK, the firm states.

Standard powered features on both models include lying, seat lift, Tilt in Space with anterior tilt, recline backrest with incorporated anti-sheer and elevating leg rests.

The PR25, which was a finalist in the Naidex Innovation Award, uses automatic stabilizer wheels to enable the seat system to be powered from a normal seat height to floor position allowing children to access the chair from ground level, it is also suitable for small adults.

With a seat-to-floor function combined with Tilt in Space, Recline Back and Seat Lift, the PR25 is easy to manoeuvre and suitable for all.

Also on show were the all-terrain track based TrackMaster powerchairs. The MK-1X off road capabilities are unmatched, according to Precision Rehab, and in the face of rocks, mud, sand, and snow it remains undaunted while the MK-1 is just as adapt at tackling tough terrain but with a width of just 74.9cm wide.

Founded five years ago by Matthew James and his wife Emma, Precision Rehab is now recognised as an established provider of bespoke powerchairs to meet complex needs.
