Precision Rehab reports successful Naidex showcase for Permobil powerchair range

Precision Rehab has reported another highly successful Naidex, where it showcased the Permobil range of advanced powerchairs, with 10 chairs on display.
Also featured on the stand were models from the Paravan, Dietz, New Live, iBOT and Sunrise Medical ranges.
Matthew James, Director of Precision Rehab, commented: “Naidex is a great event for us as it enables us to engage with end users and people involved in their care, along with healthcare professionals from around the UK.
“It is also a great opportunity to catch up with existing clients, many of whom have become friends over the years. We knew the Permobil powerchairs would be popular, but the level of interest and requests for demonstrations and assessments exceeded all our expectations.”
Precision Rehab says the Permobil range is among the most technically advanced powerchair ranges currently available. In the event of a technical issue, the chairs can be accessed remotely, allowing an engineer to diagnose the problem and amend programme and software settings where necessary, without requiring an in-person visit.
The software also enables chair activity to be monitored, helping to ensure the client is using it correctly and getting the most from its wide range of functions.
The standing powerchair offering includes the M5 Corpus VS, a mid-wheel drive model designed to be compact and manoeuvrable for indoor and outdoor use, and the F5 Corpus VS, a hybrid model for indoor and outdoor use with a high standing angle and enhanced comfort.
The main powerchair range includes the F5 Corpus, M5 Corpus, F3 Corpus, M3 Corpus, M1 Corpus and X850 Corpus, all of which offer a combination of manoeuvrability, comfort, ease of use indoors and outside, and a wide choice of standard and optional features, with front- and mid-wheel drive options available.
Completing the Permobil range on show were the Permobil K300 PS Jr and Permobil Explorer Mini paediatric powerchairs.
Other powerchair brands currently available in the UK from Precision Rehab include Paravan, NEW LIVE, Dietz and Sunrise Medical.
The Hero powerchair from Urathon was selected as the winner of the ‘Able Magazine Naidex Best In Show’ award at Naidex.
