Pickerings Lifts Midlands Office

Aiming to build its presence in the mobility sector, Pickerings Lifts has launched a new office in Warrington to complement its existing Manchester site.

Marking the 12th office for the Stockton-on-Tees-headquartered lift specialist, the latest site comes as the company continues to invest in expanding its national reach.

“We now have twelve regional offices and are planning more at a time when our bigger competitors are closing theirs down and smaller competitors can’t cover the whole country,” commented Paul Brooks, Managing Director of Pickerings Lifts.

“We’ve built our size and strong reputation in the marketplace over many decades, and yet we still retain the personal touch and values on which the business has been founded.”

Already working with councils, care homes, the NHS and private customers, the company supplies, installs, repairs and maintains a wide range of mobility and moving and handling products, including disability hoists, medical beds, stairlifts, steplifts and outdoor platform lifts.

Currently servicing 3,000 mobility units across the UK, Pickerings Lifts’ expansion is part of its strategic plan to win more mobility service contracts.

Paul Dixon, Pickering Lifts’ newly-appointed Regional Manager, added: “This investment and expansion will allow us to serve existing and potential customers in Liverpool and Cheshire, as well as North Wales and Stoke.”

The new office has also created five new jobs.
